Infosciné figures published through Zickma report 3,032 admissions across 36 copies for The Condor Daughter, including 2,591 from previews. That puts previews at roughly 85.5 percent of the cumulative number.

The release-day portion is much smaller

Subtracting the reported preview admissions from the total leaves 441 admissions attributable to Wednesday within that cumulative figure. That calculation matters more here than a conventional ranking against the week's much wider releases.

It would also be misleading to divide all 3,032 admissions by the 36 opening-day copies and call the result a clean per-screen measure. The 2,591 preview admissions were accumulated before national release and do not necessarily correspond to the same set of screenings represented by the August 19 copy count.

Paris offers another, deliberately narrow snapshot. The film drew 44 admissions from two copies during the city's first-showing measurement. That is a Paris-only sample rather than a national total.

A festival title entering a small French theatrical run

Wayna Pitch released Álvaro Olmos Torrico's drama in France on August 19. The film, associated with Bolivia, Peru and Uruguay, follows Clara, a young Quechua doula whose departure for the city places her ambitions against the knowledge her mother Ana carries as an experienced midwife.

The movie had already spent considerable time in front of audiences before its French commercial opening through festival screenings and previews. The first-day data make that earlier exposure unusually visible: 2,591 of the reported 3,032 admissions were already on the board before the normal Wednesday release.

The first full week will be a cleaner comparison

One day of theatrical data cannot establish the run's trajectory, particularly with only 441 non-preview admissions identifiable inside the initial cumulative figure. Weekend and first-week results will show how much demand remains once the advance screenings are no longer doing most of the numerical work.

The opening-day report lists 36 copies for the French release.
